I LOVE MONSTERS, Il Pestifero NV

Il Pestifero, the 'naughty boy' Pét-Nat, is part of Tavignano's 'I Love Monsters' line devoted to rediscovering older, traditional winemaking methods through modern technologies. The grapes are hand harvested with only the top quality selected before primary vinification at a controlled temperature. The wine is bottled with residual sugar and undergoes a natural second fermentation in the bottle for a period of two months. It is not disgorged or filtered. 

The I Love Monsters label is an offshoot from Tenuta di Tavignano in the lovely, sun-drenched Italian wine region of Le Marche that is aimed at the millennial demographic of natural wine drinking with awesome labels, incredibly drinkable wines, and a great story.
